Whoever it is, they're both such evocative photos. The first is truly breathtaking - all winter with it's play of light. Wonderful, Kristin. Makes me wish I could do an oil painting.

these should be framed with a very wide matte to let these breath to their full potential.
i see these piles of photographs reveal more gems...

They are just little snapshots. I was thinking of blowing them up and then framing.

that is specifically why i was suggesting a wide matte, a double matte actually, so the focus would be on the picture itself instead of competing with a frame standing too close to the picture itself. hung at eye level, people could enjoy them in their original state. surely a professional framer would have samples to show you what it would look like. sometimes, bigger is not always better. i'm just saying...

My daughter advices me on my framing so I will consult her before moving forward.

You're right. sometimes a small, well framed photo or print is perfect.
